Syllabus by the Court. 1. Under the statute of frauds an agreement for the sale of real property is invalid unless the same or some note or memorandum
thereof is in writing subscribed by the party against whom it is sought to be enforced; but such memorandum need not be a
complete contract in itself, but may consist of several documents, letters or telegrams, provided these documents show who
are the contracting parties, intelligently identify the subject matter involved, express the consideration and disclose the
terms and conditions upon which the contract is entered into.
